Misc.

Okay, so next week I have all my final exams which I am soo excited about. I am so ready to be finished with this semester and just relax before the next semester. I really think that my exams are going to go well but I cannot be too sure so I am going to work my hardest. Well, my excitement was uncontainable until I found out that I am getting my wisdom teeth taken out on the 18th! I am super nervous about this because I hear it is pretty painful. I have had my bottom wisdom teeth in for a while now and my top ones have started coming in but I do not think they are all the way in. I did not have problems with them coming in but now they are moving my teeth and making it really uncomfortable. Anyway, I am happy that they came in normal because now they will not have to cut so deep to get them out, if they have to, which I hope they do not. I am getting it done at my dentist so they cannot put me completely out so I guess they give you these muscle relaxers that you take an hour or so before you come. I heard they make you pretty loopy so that will be interesting. When I get there they give you laughing gas and numb your mouth all up with shots, which I have gotten before when I got cavities filled and they are not fun at all. When you get the shots it makes it really hard for you to drink anything while your mouth is still numb because you cannot feel anything! Anyway, wish me luck, I am super nervous!

  1. I absolutely HATE the dentist. Out of all appointments such as this, the Dentist is my least favorite (the eye doctor is my favorite). The last time I was at the Dentist I had a cavaty; it was the first cavity of my life. They were going through the procedure as to what they were going to do and I thought "This isn't going to be so bad." Boy was I ever wrong. They numbed my mouth to where I could not eat or drink for like five hours!! They like take a grinder to your mouth and grind on your teeth in which you can still kind of feel a little bit. The taste of having tooth shavings in your mouth is not the most tasteful thing ever. I heard that getting your wisdom teeth pulled instead of cut out is so much less painful. I am lucky as I have not had to experience my wisdom teeth coming in yet but when they do come in, I will be ready for it all to be over! It is kind of odd to hear about you getting your wisdom teeth out on the 18th as I am getting surgery on my knee on the 19th. I guess this Christmas break is not going to be a fun one for neither of us but definitely one to remember! I am so ready for next semester to being and to meet new people in new classes. Maybe these next classes will be easier than the ones of this semester (I can only hope). Good luck with your wisdom teeth!

  2. One of my best friends got her wisdom teeth taken out a couple of weeks ago. Just so you know your face really swells up. Your cheeks look like you have marshmallows stuffed in your mouth. She did say it hurt a lot, but the pain goes away for away. she also was unable to drink out of a staw so when I brought her a smoothie because I thought it would feel nice on her gums, she had to use a spoon. I can say you are not really loop at least she was not, but she is kind of a crazy fun girl so it would have been hard to tell. I am so going to hate it when I have to get mine out, but I only have one so it is a good, but also bad. It sucks that I have to just get one out, but that is better than the seven my cousin had taken out. You also will eat a lot of soup, and food you cannot really chew for about a week. That will suck! I notice that when you get your wisdom teeth out I will be going to the denist to get mine clean. It has been awhile since I have gone because my denist moved out of town and I am always busy. So this wil be ineteresting. I actually have a friend that wants to be an oral surgeon. I think that is crazy how would it be fun to put people in so much pain! Good luck! Have a great rest of the year!
