Misc
I am so, so, so, excited for this week. Today, Tuesday, and Wednesday I have class which kind of sucks but we are not really doing anything in any of them anyway. Today I found out that since so many did poorly on our Anatomy exam that we are going to have a curve test on Monday that is worth 17 points! I did not do too bad on my test but these extra points will make it even better. Tuesday I have English and we are working on our paper so that will be helpful and Wednesday I have Public Speaking, Anatomy lecture, and Anatomy lab. In Public Speaking we have policy speeches which is the last speech before our final one. In my anatomy lecture we are just going over notes and in my Anatomy lab we are looking at a cadaver. Which would be really exciting but, Wednesday is also my birthday so I really dont want to go to class at all. I will go to my Public Speaking class for sure but I am not sure about the other two. Thursday is the big day that everyone is excited for, Thanksgiving! I am so excited to get together with my family and eat all the yummy food and then go to my boyfriends for his Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving has to be the best time of the year, it feels so warm and loving and everyone gets stuffed and just sits around and talks. Friday is of course Black Friday, which I am still trying to talk my mom into going but it is not going well. Anyway, I hope everyone else has an awesome Thanksgiving and stays safe and has a great time with all their loved ones!

I am so happy break is almost here. It is Wednesday and I have one more class to go. The bad news is I have to take a test, but I find when I have test the class goes so much faster. The test I have is in math, I absolutely hate math. I have always had trouble in math, but this year I feel like I have gotten so much better. I am so excited for Thanksgiving as well. I don’t have anything Thanksgiving parties tomorrow, except having supper with my family. Although I don’t have a party tomorrow I do have one tonight. Tonight I am having Thanksgiving with my friends, it’s called Friendsgiving. I am excited because this is the first Friendsgiving I have ever gone to. I sure hope the boys are able to contribute with the food, but we all know the girls will have to do it all. I just might have to force them to do the dishes. I am so glad you brought up Black Friday! I absolutely love going Black Friday shopping. It is usually a tradition for my mom, sisters, and I. This year I hope to get a TV that I will get from Santa. My sisters goal is to get things for a house since she is getting married this year, and buying a house. I guess break will be here soon, and until then we will just have to get through our classes. I hope you have a great Birthday, and enjoy your Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteHey there! I hope you had a good birthday! I don’t think I was in public speaking that day to wish you one, but heck, I had really important things to do that day like going to the doctor’s office. Is it just me, or did the last three days before thanksgiving break drag on for what felt like ever and ever? Gosh, I was sitting in my math lecture on that Wednesday, and I felt as if every single second of every minute of the hour and twenty minute class was a year and a half long. I almost could not have taken it anymore, ha-ha. Fortunately though, break finally came around and I was extremely happy to finally sit down on the good old couch and just relax for a moment. I would say that, out of the whole entire break, the most I did in terms of productivity was actually get myself out of bed and get dressed. I was probably the laziest I have ever been over this previous break. That being said though, I felt as if I deserved that lazy time. In my opinion, I feel as if this semester has been the longest school period I have ever participated in. The days go by slower, I am becoming more stressed, and the amount of sleep get every night is pretty slim. That being said though, at least the holiday break is right around the corner. All I basically have to do before I can enjoy being lazy again is get this paper over with and the finals done. Cheers to that!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait for the bigger break we will have. I feel like this was a tease for what is about to come. I cannot wait to sleep in, or get more hours of work in. I feel that compared to college my high school gets no break. We have had like no breaks for holidays, but they cancel us a lot for crazy things. I mean I drive in the fog everyday and we cancel when it is not that bad out. Maybe that is just me being bitter about not getting the deelay like others ha. I have never been Black Friday shopping, but I feel like if I tried to talk my mom into it she would not go for it either we are not big crazy shoppers. We like the more less stressful shopping ha. We like to do online shopping more too. I am glad you had a good break. I feel like I would feel swamped with all the class that you are taking, and how busy you are. I had so much food over this break too. I feel like having two thanksgivings in one day is the worst idea ever. I tried to prepare myself by running beforemy first one, but that did not help. It just made me less hungry. I know it is weird running makes me less hungry than when I do not run. Soccer season is really bad for me on this ha. Good luck with the rest of the year!
