So I just want all of you to know that I seriously have the
worst luck in the entire world probably, well with cars at least. So here goes
the horrific luck that I have had because you might find it funny, a lot of
people do. Well when I turned fifteen and a half I drove with the instructor
just like everyone else. Well, all the days were fine until I had to drive with
this old guy, we were driving on this small country road and were coming up on
a hill and I got over as far as I could while still on the road. This obviously
was not good enough because he grabbed the wheel and yanked it towards him and
was like, “you need to get off the road some because you have no idea what’s on
the other side.” I was like seriously you couldn’t just tell me that? Well, it
came to my driver’s test and I passed but I did hit a cone but didn’t knock it
over. Well everything was going fine, my birthday is in November and in
December, I was passing a car and almost hit a state trooper head on. I was
going to try the fake tear thing but it was a lady cop and she was not going
for that. I went to court a month later and got my license suspended for 6
months, with privileges to school and work and volleyball. Well, in May, a
month before I get my license back I wrecked my car! I live on top of a big
hill and there are a lot of accidents, well we got a bunch of rain and my tires
were bad and I started fish tailing down the hill and then my car jerked
sideways and I hit a tree. I was completely fine, luckily because there is a
huge hill going down into a woods. I went to court and lost my license until I was
17 with privileges again. When I finally got my license back and a car I was
going to grandmas and got a flat tire, we fixed it. Like, a month later I was
in town at like 3:30 in the afternoon and hit a deer. Luckily it only hurt my
car cosmetically, which I still haven’t fixed. Needless to say, I should ride a bike.
I had some bad luck with cars. Not like this though, and I do not find it funny. I have only been hit. Like just this Tuesday I was rearended in our school parking lot. Then someone did a hit and run to me, and now I have a dent in my car. I had a car before this one, and it broke down on me when I was driving home from school last year. We ended up selling, and then fixed the problem and made more money off of it. My dad was so mad when they called. I was okay with it because I got a better car that was more trustworthy to get me to Lima and back everyday. I have had some trouble, but I had more trouble with bikes. I wrecked my bike, and sprained my wrist, scars on my knee, and scraped my face. I also am not that cooridnate. I may play soccer, but I am bad at biking and walking. I also had bad luck witbh walking down the stairs. When I was in 5th grade I fell down the stairs, and had a bump on my head now. As you can see I am not good at all of these things. So I have the worst luck with a lot of things. I find mines more fun then yours because mine are not as dnagerous or unlucky where I get in trouble.Hopefully we both we can have better luck with our car problems.
ReplyDeleteHa-ha, it seems like a lot of us can relate to your pain. I, much like a lot of us, have a terrible losing streak with cars. Well, when I was about fifteen, I bought my first car. It was a 1997 Oldsmobile, and basically, it was a piece of crap. That being said, it was MY heap of crap, so I definitely cared a lot about that automobile. Before I even got my driver’s license, my mom was borrowing my car. I think she was just heading up town to do some errands and buy some groceries. Unfortunately, while she was in the grocery store, some dumb as heck semi truck driver drove into the parking lot way too fast, randomly smashed my car, and drove off. How subtle was that?! I did not even have my license and I already started a losing streak with driving. After that, I finally got my license. The first time I was driving alone, some dumb kid I don’t even know was trying to play “chicken” with me. So, he was driving on the opposite side of the road, heading right for me, so I obviously had to swerve. Well, I swerved right into my neighbor’s mailbox. Luckily for me, she saw what happened and understood that I was not at fault, so all I had to do was buy her a new mail box. Finally after having my license and car for a while, I decided to drive to Toledo to visit some friends and my sister, when, out of no where, a big buck ran onto the road and I was going full speed, so, bye bye Bambi :/. I think I am going to give up on driving, I guess God just doesn’t want me behind a wheel!
ReplyDeleteI find this blog pretty humorous, especially knowing that I have not had one thing go wrong with my driving skills but probably am on my last life. Also, do not forget to add that your starter started to go out in Lima and had to have someone come get you from forty minutes away (just thought I would add that part in case you forgot). I have never had a vehicle long enough to wait for something to go seriously wrong with it as I am working on my 6th vehicle and I am just turning eighteen tomorrow. I always vowed that if a deer hit my truck, I would personally get out and beat it to death. Needless to say, I think all of the deer heard me, got scared, and decided never to come near the big blue truck. There have been countless times were I have been lucky not to be in accidents. I can remember seeing how fast I could go around 90 degree turns and almost hit a telephone pole on the other side at forty miles per hour. I have also spun out on the road before (might have been on purpose) and have gone into the ditch; luckily for four wheel drive I was able to get it out with no problems. I guess you could say that I am a lucky driver but I just like to see myself as an excellent driver.
